Save the date – 5th February 2019 is Chinese New Year. Also known as Spring Festival or the Lunar New Year, Chinese New Year is the largest Chinese celebration of the year and will be celebrated by over 20% of the global population. Chinese New Year celebrations officially last a week, however there are other festivities – including Little Year on 28th January and the Lantern Festival on 19th February – which extend the festive period to between 4 and 6 weeks.

In China, many people move away from their families for work, in the run up to Chinese New Year there is a nationwide pilgrimage as families get together to celebrate. Typically, Chinese factories and other businesses close for around a month to enable their staff to travel back home. We source many of our bespoke branded items from factories in China directly to provide the best value and highest quality products for our clients.
